Lanny R. Zatzkis has a remarkable life story of early memories, life-changing experiences, and a successful legal profession. In 1948, Shreveport welcomed his family. The author recalls the thrill of delivering the afternoon “Shreveport Journal,” with the news reverberating through his paperboy stride. C.E. Byrd High School impacted his adolescence via friendships, academic accomplishment, and possibly turmoil.
